M/S Gleon would mainly focus on international markets, which are mainly served at present by leading large-scale tea companies in Sri Lanka, but at relatively higher prices. We as a medium-scale business venture, attempt to supply high-quality tea at competitive prices to such international markets with the aim of gaining a firm foot-hold there. We believe that price competitiveness while offering a high-quality product is our key factor in succeeding. We try to maintain our general overheads at a lower level compared to large tea packeting businesses and thereby pass the savings to our clientele in terms of low prices. We are also geared to undertake orders to pack tea under a client’s own label, or in bulk according to a client’s requirement.
